PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a handling apparatus for a manual transmission enabling a parking lock mechanism to operate without increasing the number of vehicle operation systems or for an automatic transmission based on the manual transmission.SOLUTION: A shift lever provided to be movable in a shift pattern 41 that includes a plurality of shift positions corresponding to a plurality of change gear ratios, respectively and a neutral position N where power from a traveling power source is not transmitted to wheels, moves in a select route 411 which extends horizontally from the neutral position N and a plurality of shift routes 412 to 415 extending in the direction orthogonal to the select route 411, the shift pattern 41 includes a reverse shift position R and a shift position for parking lock P, the shift position for the parking lock P is disposed in one of the shift routes 412 to 415 or disposed independently so as to face any of the reverse shift position R and the shift positions.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
