PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To connect two power storage devices after charging a capacitor without using a precharge circuit in a power source device having two power storage devices.SOLUTION: System main relays SMR1, SMR2 are kept off, and also four transistors T1 to T4 are turned off (S100). A bidirectional DC/DC converter is actuated, and a first filter capacitor and a smooth capacitor are charged up to a first battery voltage VB1 (S110, S120). Then, the system main relay SMR1 is turned on to connect a first battery pack. Thereafter, the transistor T4 is turned on (S130), and the bidirectional DC/DC converter is actuated to charge a second filter capacitor and the smooth capacitor up to a second battery voltage VB2 (S140, S150).
