PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new seal capable of sequentially discharging slurry or the like immersed into a seal while its structure is simple.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a seal 11 installed between an outer member 2 and an inner member 5 coaxially rotated with respect to the outer member 2. A first seal member 50 internally fitted to the outer member 2 and a double-cylindrical second seal member 60 outwardly fitted to the inner member 5 are combined to each other. The inner diameter side and outer diameter side cylindrical parts 601, 602 of the second seal member 60 are formed to extend along a direction of a shaft L toward the first seal member 50. The outer diameter side cylindrical part 602 constitutes a labyrinth [r] along the direction of the shaft L between it and an inner fitted part 520a with respect to the outer member 2 of the first seal member 50. An inner circumferential part 41c of the outer diameter side cylindrical part 602 is formed with a plurality of irregularities 42, 43 repeated along a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
