PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater in which heating capacity is lowered when used in a tilted state to a depression angle side.SOLUTION: An electric heater 1 has a body case part 2 including a heater 21 which can vary heating capacity and a support part 3, the body case part 2 and the support part 3 are connected by a rotary shaft unit 4, and the body case part 2 is rotatable to a depression angle side by the rotary shaft unit 4. It also includes: depression angle detection means 19 for detecting that the body case part 2 has rotated to the depression angle side; and control means 16 which, when the depression angle detection means 19 has detected the depression angle of the body case part 2, in the case where the heating capacity of the heater 21 is equal to or greater than predetermined capacity, forcibly lowers the heating capacity to below the predetermined capacity.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
