PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that enables a driver to recognize that the interruption of the following of an own vehicle to a preceding vehicle.SOLUTION: Information acquisition means (S100) acquires travel control information used for a travel control to cause an own vehicle to follow a preceding vehicle on a travel lane on which the own vehicle travels. Travel control execution means (S145, S155) implements the travel control using the travel control information. Interruption detection means (S120, S130, S150) detects an interruption state where following of the own vehicle to the preceding vehicle has been interrupted. Deceleration means (S165, S200) decelerates the own vehicle by causing a braking force of a preset magnitude to act on the own vehicle when the interruption detection means detects the interruption state while the travel control execution means is implementing the travel control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
