PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a head mounted display device where display of a virtual object hardly poses an impediment when a real object is visually identified.SOLUTION: A head mounted display device allowing a user to visually identify a virtual image and an outside scene comprises: an image display section causing the user to visually identify the virtual image; and an augmented reality processing section causing the image display section to form the virtual image including a virtual object for additively displaying the virtual object to a real object actually existing in an actual world. The augmented reality processing section causes the virtual image being the virtual object related to the real object applied with at least attention action and including the virtual object in a first display mode to be formed in accordance with continuity of the attention action with respect to the real object for predetermined reference time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
