PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas pipe joint in which a new pipe and an old pipe can be connected positively within a short time without performing any work for fastening again bolts after the bolt is once loosened and its position is adjusted as found in the prior art pipe joint even if burying positions for the new pipe and the old pipe are displaced in a vertical direction or in a horizontal direction.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a pipe joint for a gas piping for connecting a new pipe [P1] with an old pipe [P2] buried in the underground. The pipe joint comprises a flexible pipe joint main body 1 and a joint member 2 formed with a flange 2a having a bolt hole 2b. The joint member 2 comprises a stopper member 7 inserted into an end part of the pipe joint main body 1, a rubber ring 8 attached to an outer circumference of an end part of the pipe joint main body 1 and a pressing means 9 by pushing the rubber ring 8 and reducing a diameter of the pipe joint main body 1.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
