PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable further favorable lubrication in a casting mold in an area in which mold powders exist as a solid in the casting mold of a continuous casting machine.SOLUTION: A continuous casting machine comprises: a casting mold in which a molten metal and mold powders are sourced from above, and the casting piece being a coagulation of the molten metal is drawn out from below; and a solid lubricant feeding means which feeds a solid lubricant comprising fine particles between the inner wall of the casting mold and a mold powder solid layer which is a coagulation layer of the mold powder and is formed between the casting piece and the inner wall of the casting mold.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
