PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration type blade polisher having an easy and simple constitution capable of easily recovering sharpness of the blade of which the sharpness is deteriorated, capable of establishing a simple polishing method utilizing vibrations of a polishing surface and capable of materializing the polishing method.SOLUTION: A vibration type blade polisher 1 includes: a main body 30 having a surface 31; a vibration mechanism disposed on the main body 30; and a polishing body 10 which is connected with the vibration mechanism and has a polishing surface 12 so as to expose the polishing surface 12 to an outer part of the surface 31 of the main body 30. In the vibration type blade polisher 1, the vibration mechanism drives the polishing body 10 such that the polishing surface 12 performs go-and-return vibrations consisting of a forward path from an initial point S to a terminal point E and a return path from the terminal point E to the initial point S within a flat surface containing the exposed polishing surface 12. Therein, the go-and-return vibrations of the polishing surface 12 are configured such that the forward path and the return path draw different close paths from each other.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
