The present invention relates to an authentication gateway, a control method thereof, a storage medium stored with a program for executing the control method, and an application stored in the storage medium to execute the control method as combined with hardware. According to the present invention, the control method of an authentication gateway, which is to communicate with a communication terminal via a terminal access device and update a previously provided MAC table based on whether at least any one from an address resolution protocol (ARP) request signal and an external communication network connection request signal has been received from the communication terminal, comprises the steps of: confirming whether data stored in the MAC table has been changed; and determining that access to a communication terminal, whose data is determined to have been deleted, has been released based on a result of the confirmation.
