PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for generating test data regarding a plurality of input variables including input variables having mutually dependent relations among one another.SOLUTION: A test data generating device 10 extracts a design model from design package data received from a user terminal 20, analyzes the design model to extract a test object, and extracts a list of test items from the test object. A condition extracting unit 14 extracts for each test item a conditional expression for generating test data on input variables. A variables classifying unit 15 analyzes the conditional expression for each test item, and classifies input variables regarding the test item into sets of variables on the basis of the presence or absence of any dependent relation. A value candidate generating unit 16 generates candidates for each set of variables candidates for the values of the input variables belonging to the set on the basis of the conditional expression. A combination generating unit 17 generates as test data one or more groups regarding combinations of candidates for the sets of variables candidates, generates a list of test cases containing the generated test data, and outputs the list to the user terminal.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
