PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that, in a driving device including a vibration wave motor, it is desired to reduce vibrations occurring in the vibration wave motor, in an inexpensive configuration.SOLUTION: A driving device comprises: a vibration wave motor including a vibrator which is vibrated by an applied high frequency voltage, a friction member in contact with the vibrator, a pressurization part for bringing the vibrator into pressure-contact with the friction member, a vibrator support member for holding the vibrator, and a base member for fixing the friction member so as to hold the vibrator in a movable manner in a state of being brought into pressure-contact with the friction member by the pressurization part; a motor holding member for holding the vibration wave motor by fixing the base member; and a vibration absorption member which is held while being pressed between the base member and the motor holding member and between the friction member and the motor holding member. A deformation amount in a width of the vibration absorption member between the base member and the motor holding member is different from a deformation amount in the width of the vibration absorption member between the friction member and the motor holding member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
