PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contribute to stabilizing the deployment behavior of an airbag.SOLUTION: In a vehicle far side airbag apparatus 10, a webbing 38 fixed to a lower end-side region of a burst line part 31 of a seat back 14 and to a seat back frame 20 overlaps a package 42 (an airbag 32 in an accommodated state) in a side view of a seat. At least part of this webbing 38 is located on a lower side of the seat back 14 than a lower end opening 36B of a diffuser 36. At a height at which the at least part thereof is located, the airbag 32 starts to be inflated at early timing by high-pressure gas injected from the lower end opening 36B, so that a tensile force acts on the webbing 38 at early timing by an expansion pressure of the airbag 32. Owing to this, the burst line part 31 bursts open from a lower end-side region and the airbag 32 is inflated and deployed from a lower end portion 32L. As a result, the airbag 32 can be stably inflated and deployed from downward to upward.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
