PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which is excellent in following deformation ability with respect to a motion of a wearer, suppression of generation of discomfort, and touch feeling.SOLUTION: An absorbent article comprises a liquid permeable surface sheet 2 forming a skin contact surface, a rear surface sheet 3, and an absorber 4 interposed between these sheets. The absorbent article has a longitudinal direction X and a width direction Y. The surface sheet 2 is made of a non-woven fabric 1 with an uneven structure, in which stripe-shaped projections 13 and recesses 14 extending in the longitudinal direction are arranged alternately in the width direction Y. The surface sheet is joined to an adjacent lower side sheet 6 in the recesses 14. The projection 13 has a hollow structure between the lower side sheet 6. The non-woven fabric 1 includes a fiber having a large diameter part and a small diameter part which are different from each other in a fiber diameter. The absorber 4 has highly flexible regions 5, whose flexural rigidity is lower than other portions, at a plurality of places in the width direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
