PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection nozzle capable of improving a space use rate of a combustion chamber without causing deterioration of exhaust gas.SOLUTION: A fuel injection nozzle 1 is a multi-hole type fuel injection nozzle in which a plurality of pieces of injection holes 4 are provided side by side in the circumferential direction around an axis line of a nozzle body 3, and which injects fuel radially with the axis line of the nozzle body 3 being the center. Then, out of two injection holes 4 adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction, one injection hole 4A has a larger spray angle and a shorter spray reach distance than those of the other injection hole 4B. The other injection hole 4B has a smaller spray angle and a longer spray reach distance than those of the one injection hole 4A. By adopting a structure in which the injection hole 4A for forming a wide angle spray and the injection hole 4B for forming a high penetration spray are arranged alternately in the circumferential direction, a space use rate can be improved while securing a between-spray necessary distance W which does not cause deterioration in exhaust gas.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 |
