PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery system which is superior in ability to activate a battery and which enables the rise in battery capacity and the materialization of a high output.SOLUTION: A battery system comprises: a storing container for storing at least one liquid of an electrolyte and a solvent for preparing the electrolyte; a battery including a positive electrode, a negative electrode and a frame member, and having a structure in which the positive and negative electrodes are opposed to each other through an electrolyte-containing part surrounded by the positive and negative electrodes and the frame member, provided that the battery is completed by supplying the liquid into the electrolyte-containing part; a liquid flow path connecting between the storing container and the battery; a liquid supplying part which supplies the liquid from the storing container to the battery through the liquid flow path; and a removing part which removes an oxidation precipitate produced in the electrolyte-containing part. In the battery system, the storing container and the battery are included in a united form or as separate bodies; at least one of the storing container and the battery has the liquid flow path; and the removing part has the liquid supplying part including a liquid flow path connected to a bottom part of the battery.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
