PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base board cutter which can surely remove chips remaining at a cut face of a base board.SOLUTION: A blade part 106 is surrounded by an injection cylinder 114, the blade part 106 is made to protrude from a nozzle 115 of the injection cylinder 114, a diameter of the nozzle 115 is set so that a gap G falls into a range of 2.5 mm to 5.0 mm, the internal pressure of the injection cylinder 114 is set within a range of 0.2 MPa to 0.4 MPa by gauge pressure, and chips are removed by an airflow which flows from the nozzle 115 in parallel with an axis of the blade part 106.EFFECT: When cutting a base board by a tool which rotates several ten thousands per minute, a layer between the chips and air remains in a range of 2 mm from a surface of the tool; however, as far as the gap G is 2.5 mm larger than 2.0 mm, the airflow flows at the outside of the layer of 2.0 mm (layer between chips and air), arrives at the chips remaining at the cut side face, and removes the chips.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 12 |
