PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hybrid cord excellent in manufacturing processability, excellent in quality uniformity, reduced in variation of travelling performances, and capable of offering advantages of improved travelling performance, and to provide a high-performance radial tire applying the hybrid cord.SOLUTION: The hybrid cord comprises a fiber ply with a high modulus and a fiber ply with a low modulus. The hybrid cord has a stress-strain curve composed of three sections of an initial modulus, an intermediate modulus and a final modulus. The initial modulus is higher than the intermediate modulus and the final modulus is higher than the intermediate modulus.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
