PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing fixation and pressure rolls that is capable of comparatively easily giving fixation and pressure rolls that are unlikely to cause abnormal foaming on a boundary surface of a core grid.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing fixation and pressure rolls includes a molding step of molding an unvulcanized silicone rubber having a chemical foaming agent blended therein under reduced pressure; a leaving step of leaving the product after the molding step to stand for a prescribed period; and a foaming and hardening step of vulcanizing, after the leaving step, the unvulcanized silicone rubber to form an elastic layer made of a foam silicone rubber.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
