PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display assembly for a portable object such as a wristwatch which operates properly both in a brightly lit environment and in a dark environment.SOLUTION: A display assembly (1) for a portable object includes an at least partially transparent, self-emissive first display device (2) located on the side of an observer (4), a reflective second display device (6) arranged underneath the self-emissive first display device (2).
