PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such the problem that in the conventional art, a user cannot desirably control driving of a focus lens, since the focus lens is automatically driven when performing focusing on a position stored in storage means.SOLUTION: An optical device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a focus lens; drive means that drives the focus lens; operation member that is used by the user for operating the focus lens; operation detection means that detects an operation performed to the operation member; lens position detection means that detects a position of the focus lens; a storage part that stores a target position to which the focus lens is driven; and a control part that drives the focus lens via the drive means to the target position upon receiving a detection result from the operation detection means, and when determining that the focus lens reaches the target position on the basis of a detection result from the lens position detection means, stops the focus lens regardless of the operation performed to the operation member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
