PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position sensor capable of achieving space saving.SOLUTION: A position sensor includes: a nearly square-shaped sheet-like optical waveguide W sandwiching a sheet-like core pattern member having a lattice-shaped portion 2A composed of a plurality of linear core parts 2A and a plurality of core outer peripheral portions 2B to 2G extended from this lattice-shaped portion 2A of the core 2 and arranged in a state of being along the outer periphery of the lattice-shaped portion 2A by an underclad layer 1 and an overclad layer 3. A plurality of core outer peripheral portions 2D to 2G from the lattice-like portion 2A of the core pattern member to light receiving elements 5A to 5D are arranged in a state of being divided into one side and the other side along the side edge in the side edge portions F1, F2 which are formed with the outer periphery portions 2D to 2G of a nearly square sheet-like optical waveguide W.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
