PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an armature having an iron core constituted of an inner iron core and an outer iron core, in which the inner iron core can be attached to the outer iron core with a small pressure force, capable of improving the productivity and reducing the manufacturing cost.SOLUTION: An outer iron core 50 has plural connection grooves 51 which are formed on the inner peripheral surface for inserting teeth 43 of an inner iron core 40. On a connection groove bottom face 51a, a protrusion 51b protruding inward in a radial direction is formed. The protrusion 51b and a tooth outer periphery face 43a are in contact with each other.
