PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotor capable of suppressing deterioration of magnetic balance while reducing cost of manufacture of permanent magnets, and a rotary electric machine with the same.SOLUTION: A rotor 2 for a rotary electric machine 100 comprises a rotor 21 which is fixed on a rotary shaft 1 in an integrally rotatable manner, and a plurality of permanent magnets 22 which are disposed on an outer peripheral surface of the rotor core 21 at equal intervals in a circumferential direction. The permanent magnet 22 includes an outer side surface 22a which is formed in a curved surface shape expanded radially outsides, and an inner side surface 22b which is formed in a planar shape and fixed on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core 21. Between the adjacent permanent magnets 22 on the outer peripheral surface of the rotor core 21, a core groove 25 is formed which is recessed radially insides.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
