PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the number of times of pressing a key down substantially equal to that with the same fingering as a general personal computer by a keyboard with three rows and five columns in an input system of a portable phone.SOLUTION: A shift key placed within a frame of a keyboard with three rows and five columns is used for converting voiceless sound into semi-voiced sound and p-sound in the kana syllabary, converting A-line sound into small-sized a, i, u, e and o, converting a W key into a V key, and furthermore converting a M key into a long sound symbol key, so as to input Katakana words.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
