PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road widening block, for adding a pedestrian way to an existing road or expanding a road width, which sufficiently utilizes weight of solidified in-situ concrete inside a filling space of a counter section in the road widening block.SOLUTION: A road widening block 1 comprises: a counter section 2 which has a filling space 24 into which in-situ concrete is placed at a construction site; and a widening section 3 which has an upper surface used for widening a road. The counter section 2 has a pressing section 4 provided with an upper face 41, positioned lower than a superficial layer of the in-situ concrete placed in the filling space 24, on a wall facing the filling space 24.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
