PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent rust from occurring on a processing surface formed by subjecting the end surface and the end portion of a welded steel pipe to beveling work and shaping work and/or cutting work.SOLUTION: A working and rust prevention device of a steel pipe end includes: (i-1) a beveling working device for beveling the end surface of a steel pipe, on the outer periphery or the inner periphery of a surface board which rotates around a pipe axis of a welded steel pipe and moves forward or backward to the welded steel pipe; as needed, (i-2) one or both of an end shaping device for cutting and removing welded excessive portion and/or deposit generated on the outer peripheral surface or inner peripheral surface of the steel pipe end, and a projection cutting device for cutting and removing projections which are continuously formed on the outer peripheral surface or inner peripheral surface of the steel pipe end; and (ii) a rust-preventive treatment device for subjecting the beveled surface formed by the beveling working device to a rust-preventive treatment.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
