PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a scatter of water to peripheral components and members accompanied by the rotation of a pivot shaft from a pivot cover which is attached to the pivot shaft.SOLUTION: A wiper device 1 has pivot shafts 11, 12 which are connected to an electric motor 5 via a link mechanism 7. A flood suppression pivot cover 24 is fixed to the pivot shafts 11, 12. The pivot cover 24 has a pivot attachment part 32 which is attached to the pivot shafts 11, 12, a base bottom part 31 which extends to a radial direction from the pivot attachment part 32, a peripheral wall part 33 which is erectly arranged along an axial direction from the base bottom part 31, and a water drainage part 35 arranged at the peripheral wall part 33, and having a water drainage hole 36. A scatter prevention wall 38 is protrusively arranged at the outside of the peripheral wall part 33 while adjoining the water drainage part 35. Water which is discharged from the water drainage hole 36, and scattered accompanied by the rotation of the pivot shafts 11, 12 is received by the scatter prevention wall 38, and a scatter of water from the water drainage part 35 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
