The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method to allocate distributed resources in a wireless mesh network. A method to allocate distributed resources in a wireless mesh network according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a step that a distributed resource allocation apparatus determines whether resources preoccupied by an adjacent node can be used as receivable resources in accordance with an amount of interference affecting the adjacent node when the resources preoccupied by the adjacent node are repeatedly used if a data transmission request message containing information of transmittable resource areas is received from a transmission node; and a step that the distributed resource allocation apparatus transmits a data transmission approval message containing information of the receivable resources.
