The objective of the present invention is to provide a method and an apparatus for respiration rate detecting using an adaptive double threshold value, to solve existing problems. Particularly, the present invention relates to a technology to detect a respiration rate of a user (a subject) by using an adaptive double threshold value by setting an adaptive double threshold value and extracting a respiration rate from respiration signals of the user by using the set adaptive double threshold value.
