The present invention relates to a decompressing device for measuring an amount of gas contained in molten metal when manufacturing a nonferrous alloy or the like. The decompressing device comprises: a vacuum chamber to accommodate a sample collection cup holding molten metal; a vacuum pump to achieve a vacuum state in the vacuum chamber; and a medium chamber having an inlet connected to the vacuum chamber and an outlet connected to the vacuum pump. Accordingly, damage to the vacuum pump caused by overflowing motel metal while using the decompressing device can be prevented.
