The present invention relates to a polyurethane urea elastic fiber with an excellent unwinding performance and a method for manufacturing the same and, more particularly, to a polyurethane urea elastic fiber with a peanut-shaped cross section and an excellent unwinding performance and a method for manufacturing the same in which NCO% is 2.60 to 3.00% during polyol-diisocyanate polymerization and 100% of ethylenediamine is used as a chain extender and thus the average value of the cross-sectional modification degree of the elastic fiber is 2.0 to 3.5 and its standard deviation is 0.01 to 1.0.
