The present invention relates to a buckling-restrained brace for earthquake-proof reinforcement of a steel structure, improving cross-sectional performance and reinforcing a steel structure. According to a preferred embodiment of the present invention, the brace for reinforcing a steel structure comprises: a core material composed of an H-shaped steel beam; two reinforcement materials composed of a main body, a coupling unit, and a reinforcement unit; a reinforcement plate configured between an outer surface of a flange of the core material and an inner surface of the main body of the reinforcement material; and a brace plate formed to enable a fixing plate, a vertical plate, and a coupling plate to be spaced at predetermined intervals from each other. |
