The joinery work has a structural panel (4) comprising reception housing (8) to receive a marquetry element (5). The marquetry element has an inner part (15) forming a support layer and an outer part (16) forming a visually accessible layer, where the parts are superimposed and assembled with each other. The housing and the marquetry element are defined by peripheral contours (10, 13) that are, with limited clearance, complementary to each other. The panel and the outer part are made of wood or wood based material. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a casement of a door. |
