A liquid crystal display device comprises a plurality of pixels for displaying an image. A thin film transistor is included in each of the pixels. The thin film transistor comprises: a gate electrode; a source electrode partially overlapping the gate electrode; and a drain electrode facing the source electrode around the gate electrode. The source electrode is formed in a bar-shape. The drain electrode comprises a first end portion of a C-shape which surrounds an end of the bar-shaped source electrode. The liquid crystal display device improves overlapping of a TFT channel to reduce consumption power.
