DISCRIMINATION METHOD OF GEOGRAPHICAL ORIGIN FOR COMMERCIAL RED GINSENG CONCENTRATE USING COMBINED LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY-TANDEM MASS SPECTROMETER/MS AND ELECTRONIC NOSE BASED ON MASS SPECTROMETRY

The present invention relates to a method for performing analysis using an LC-MS/MS and an electronic nose analyzer, in which an automatic sampler and a mass analyzer are connected to each other, in order to discriminate origins of Korean and Chinese commercial red Ginseng concentrates. As a result of by analyzing, using the LC-MS/MS, the Korean commercial red Ginseng concentrate and the Chinese commercial red Ginseng concentrate, index materials matched with origins can be selected, and as a result of analyzing the electronic nose analyzer in which the automatic sampler and the mass analyzer are connected to each other, it can be identified that samples suspected as Chinses and Korean concentrates can be clearly discriminated by an aromatic component pattern. Further, it can be identified using the electronic nose that, as a DF1 value is decreased, an amount of the Chinese red Ginseng concentrate is increased, and a mixing ratio can be also supposed by performing discriminant function analysis (DFA). Thus, a method for accurately discriminating origins of commercial red Ginseng concentrates, which are difficult to be discriminated, can be provided. The method includes the steps of: selecting six mixing samples of red Ginseng concentrates as indexes; selecting an index material by analyzing the red Ginseng concentrate mixing samples using an LC-MS/MS in the above step; analyzing the index material and the red Ginseng concentrate samples using an electronic nose; and analyzing a mixing ratio by performing DFA.
