The present invention relates to a display device having improved operation performance. The display device comprises a display panel, and first and second timing control units. The display panel is divided into first and second regions. The first timing control unit controls operation of the first region of the display panel, generates a first reference clock signal, generates a first internal reference clock signal based on the first reference clock signal, and generates a first synchronization clock signal based on the first internal reference clock signal. The second timing control unit controls operation of the second region of the display panel, receives the first reference clock signal, generates a second internal reference clock signal based on the first reference clock signal, and generates a second synchronization clock signal based on the second internal reference clock signal. The first and second timing control units are synchronized based on the first reference clock signal, and transmit and receive first data to and from each other based on the first and second synchronization clock signals.
