An apparatus to measure body movement according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a first sensing unit attached to each of both sides of body joints to output first sensing information corresponding to a moving velocity of a body part; a second sensing unit attached to the each of both sides of body joints to output second sensing information corresponding to an angular velocity of a body part; and an exercise volume calculation unit to calculate a translational movement of the body part in accordance with the first sensing information and output a rotational movement of the body part in accordance with the second sensing information.
