The present invention relates to a purification method of a polyalkylene carbonate resin, comprising a method to design a distillation column to separate unreacted monomers, solvent, byproducts, and products obtained after a reaction in the process of preparing a polyalkylene carbonate resin. More particularly, provided is a purification method of a polyalkylene carbonate resin, which injects a reaction mixture obtained after polymerization reaction for preparing polyalkylene carbonate to a distillation column using a flash drum and effectively separate products, unreacted monomers, solvent, and byproducts. The purification method can improve physical properties and quality of a final resin product.
