The purpose of the present invention is to provide a guard rail capable of being easily manufactured by manufacturing the guard rail have a width cross sectional shape capable of increasing shock absorbing performance through a roll-forming process and, specifically, manufacturing the guard rail to increase its own strength by a thermal surface treatment of the guard rail with the roll-forming process, but also capable of satisfying the required specifications of the guard rail even though the guard rail is manufactured to be thin by increasing a structural strength; and a manufacturing method of the guard rail. More specifically, the purpose of the present invention is to provide the guard rail capable of reducing maintenance expenses by manufacturing the guard rail to endure severe outdoor conditions by increasing a durability of the guard rail installed outdoors using a zinc galvanized steel material, and the manufacturing method of the guard rail. Moreover, the present invention provides the guard rail capable of being manufactured of a thin steel material by bending the edges on both sides of the guard rail again to increase its own structural strength of the guard rail, and is easy to transport and construct by reducing the weight and the manufacturing method of the guard rail. The manufacturing method of the guard rail comprises: a first step of cold-rolling the steel plate with a predetermined width; a second step of punching a mounting hole in the cold-rolled steel plate; a third step of roll-forming the punched steel plate; and a fourth step of thermally treating the surface of the roll-formed steel plate.
