According to embodiments of the present invention, disclosed are a display device and a driving method thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the display device comprises: a pixel unit configured to display an image at a first driving frequency in a normal mode and display an image at a second driving frequency in a low power mode wherein the second driving frequency is lower than the first driving frequency; and a power supply unit configured to output a first initialization voltage at a first level to the pixel unit during an active period of the low power mode and output a second initialization voltage at a second level to the pixel unit during at least a portion of a blank period of the low power mode wherein the second level is higher than the first level. Therefore, the display device can prevent flicker phenomena during low frequency driving.
