METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR STORING DATA BLOCK USING PREVIOUS STORED DATA BLOCK

Disclosed are a method and a system for storing data by using pre-data. The method comprises: a step of determining whether a block of data to be stored is identical to a block of pre-data, which is pre-stored in a storage place; and a step of storing meta-data including location information of the pre-data block so as to refer to the pre-data, if the data block to be stored is identical to the pre-data block. The purpose of the present invention is to provide a method for storing data by using pre-data in order to reduce a data volume.
