POWER-ON RESET CIRCUIT FOR DECREASING MAL-OPERATION DUE TO POWER INSTANT FLUCTUATION

Disclosed is a power-on reset circuit to decrease malfunction due to momentary power fluctuation. The power-on reset circuit comprises: a power-on reset signal generation unit installed between a power node where power voltage is applied and an earth node where earth voltage is applied, and generating a power-on reset signal, wherein the power-on reset signal is activated as the power voltage is raised over a predetermined level; and a reset dropping unit operated to drop the power-on reset signal to an earth voltage side in response to the activation of a power detection signal, wherein the power detection signal is activated in response to a drop of the power voltage. A semiconductor applying a power-on reset circuit of such configuration reduces malfunction due to momentary power drops and momentary power fluctuation.
