The present invention relates to a powder coating apparatus and a powder coating method using the same. The purpose of the present invention is to provide the powder coating apparatus and the powder coating method using the same which do not request to use a heating furnace for a fusion and drying step by melting powder paint sprayed to an object and by spraying liquid type powder paints to the object. For this, the present invention provides the powder coating apparatus comprising: a storage tank to store the powder paint; a spray gun to spray the powder paint discharged from the storage tank to the object by receiving the powder paint; an air supply unit to supply air to supply the powder paint stored in the storage tank to the spray gun with air pressure and to spray the powder paint to the object through the spray gun; and a heater installed at an outlet of the spray gun to spray the powder paint and to melt the powder paint moved to the outlet of the spray gun by heating the powder paint.
