An apparatus for managing a protective relay based on a cloud service includes: an upper monitoring part which is a supervisory control panel of supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) or human machine interface (HMI); a user terminal; an IED to measure state information of a transformer; and a cloud service server which analyzes an accident type based on accident occurrence of the transformer, accident type, and waveform per phase in accordance with the accident type on the basis of the state information of the transformer, and sets a grade of the analyzed information and then provides information corresponding to a request of the upper monitoring part and the user terminal, while providing information of a security grade corresponding to a security grade of the user terminal in case providing the information to the user terminal. The apparatus of the present invention can grasp the states of the transformers distributed all over the country and the protective relays connected to the transformers at a look, and at the same time can perform selective control in case a fault occurs. |
