The present invention relates to a pillar member for a vehicle. The pillar member for a vehicle comprises: a pillar body part which has one or more closed surfaces; and connection joint parts which are formed on both ends of the pillar body part and are coupled to a chassis, wherein the pillar body part and the connection joint parts are continuously formed. Each of the connection joint parts comprises: a first connection joint part which is formed on one side of the pillar body part; and a second connection joint part which is formed on the other side of the pillar body part to be opposite to the first connection joint part. The pillar body part is continuously formed in the section between the first and second connection joint parts by a roll-forming method to have the even number of closed surfaces. Thus, the present invention reduces manufacturing costs while improving load performance. |
