PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power transmission apparatus capable of avoiding a cost increase due to the increase in dimensions or the adoption of a plurality of sensors for the convenience of control.SOLUTION: In a transfer case 22, a high booster function owned by a screw mechanism 86 can allocate a high thrust to a front-wheel driving clutch 50. Further, the screw mechanism 86 can obtain stroke necessary to actuate a high-low switching mechanism 48. Therefore, using one motor 84, one screw mechanism 86 and one transfer mechanism 88 enables the high-low switching mechanism 48 to be actuated to perform switching and the torque of the front-wheel driving clutch 50 to be adjusted by the same scheme. It is thereby possible to accurately actuate the high-low switching mechanism 48 to be perform switching operation and adjust the torque of the front-wheel driving clutch 50 on the basis of a motor rotation angle Am of one motor 84. It is, therefore, possible to avoid the cost increase of a power transmission apparatus 18 due to the increase in dimension and the adoption of a plurality of sensors for the convenience of control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6 |
