PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a use of a compound with a liver protective action, in the preparation of a pharmaceutical composition for treating hepatic disorder as well as in the method for treating hepatic disorder.SOLUTION: Provided is a 1,3-di-phenyl-propa-2-ene-1-one derivative and a pharmaceutical composition containing thereof for treating hepatic disorder, in particular hepatic disorder requiring plasma level reduction in biochemical marker such as amino-transferase. The general formula (I) of 1,3-di-phenyl-propa-2-ene-1-one derivative has a liver protective action, and can be used in a method for treating hepatic disorder. Specifically, 1-[4-chlorophenyl]-3-[3,5-dimethyl-4-isopropyl-oxy-carbonyl-dimethyl-methyl-oxy phenyl]propan-2-ene-1-one, etc. are exemplified.SELECTED DRAWING: None |
