PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building with a reduced number of seismic isolators installed on a supporting foundation, for enhancing degree of freedom of design of the supporting foundation.SOLUTION: A building 1 comprises: a plurality of foundation supports 10 including at least a first supporting foundation 11 that does not fulfill required bearing strength by itself, and a second supporting foundation 12 that fulfills the required bearing strength by itself; a supported structure 20 supported by the plurality of supporting foundations 10; a first support part 31 connecting the first supporting foundation 11 with the supported structure 20, such that both structures are displaced horizontally in a same direction at a time of earthquake; and a second supporting part 32 connecting the second supporting foundation 12 with the supported structure 20, such that both structures are displaced horizontally in a same direction at a time of earthquake.
