PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machine and a cover action support mechanism of the work machine which achieve a compact cover action support mechanism and improve design freedom.SOLUTION: The cover action support mechanism according to one embodiment of the invention is mounted on a work machine including: a work rotor rotating work jaws; a first cover covering an upper side of the work rotor; a second cover connected with the first cover so as to rotationally movable. The cover action support mechanism includes: a support member arranged on the first cover; a telescopic gas spring connected with one side of the support member; an arm member connected with the other side of the support member and converting a telescopic action of the gas spring into a rotational action; and a link member contacting the arm member, moving in response to the rotational action of the arm member, and connected with the second cover.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
